Examples of promotional campaigns

In the period from September to December 2006 Univeg Deutschland, together with one of its customers, marketed six “Desperate Housewivesapples in an attractive tray printed with images from the series. The campaign included eye-catching promotional displays at the POS.

 

At the turn of the year, between December 2006 and January 2007, Univeg Deutschland organised a special charity campaign in aid of a project in a selected SOS Children's Village in conjunction with one of its customers. A house needed renovation in this village to enable a new SOS Children’s Village family to move in.

In order to raise money for this worthy cause, special apple trays were designed featuring a picture of children. A sum of money was automatically donated by the consumer to the SOS Children’s Village for every tray sold.

Together with its partners from the food retail trade Univeg Deutschland organised a novel promotion campaign entitled “Off to the orange blossom at the Mediterranean Sea”. The focus of the campaign was citrus fruits and, by simply collecting the required number of tokens, customers were able to fly cheaply to one of the countries on the Mediterranean renowned for producing citrus fruits. In this promotion, consumers were offered additional benefits through the purchase of citrus fruits.

This promotion was supported by a partner from the tourism industry. The campaign was promoted using numerous posters and flyers as well as internet advertising and eye-catching displays in the supermarkets.
